Throughout all the years I’ve attended community service, I’ve learned to embrace the many aspects of the activity. Community service made me realize that the music we conveyed brought people joy and lightened up their day. It came to my awareness that music had such an impact on others. Community service didn’t only help benefit my realization of music, but also my overall confidence and self-esteem. Every time I stepped onto the stage, I felt myself growing more and more comfortable with the audience. As my confidence increased, I felt as if my piano ability became better as well. The whole experience changed so many different components of life that it changed me into a better person as well.
