I did my first community service at Sunrise Senior Living of San Mateo in January. I was a little nervous because I had no idea what was going to happen there. The seniors seemed so happy to see us and joyful when we were playing piano. Our music brought them so much happiness and joy. I really enjoy doing community services and want to continue for years to come. I have gone to 5 more community services since January and each of them have been memorable. One of the most unforgettable moments was the community service on Mother's Day. It was the first time I spent Mother’s Day not only with my mom but with so many other moms as well. Their smiles, hugs and applause made me feel so proud. I’m planning to continue attending community services to bring joy to even more people!
